Alpha Phi Omega recruits new brothers twice a year during the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. We have a week long recruitment process that involves several fun events that showcase the experience you would have if you join APO. "My favorite memory within Alpha Phi Omega was the Chapter Retreat for Spring of 2011 when I was a pledge. We rented three cabins in Ohio by a beautiful stretch of river, and all just hung out and got to know each other a lot better. We played fun games, had a marshmallow roast, saw some wild life, and served the nation by writing letters to a brother who was in Basic Training for the Army at the time and couldn’t be there with us. The bonding experiences I had on that Chapter Retreat still last today. I truly felt like a brother, not just a member of an organization. Those people became more than friends, they are now my family, and I’ve loved Alpha Phi Omega ever since."
